Job summary

Gordon Food Service - Canada in Delta, BC is seeking a warehouse associate to handle material movement, order selection, and related duties. Starting wage is $27.22 per hour, with potential progression to $36.86 per hour after 24 months, plus incentive earnings and night, cooler, and freezer differentials.

Responsibilities include manual lifting up to 70 lbs, palletizing, scanning with a computerized system, and safe operation of pallet jacks.

Position Overview

This position includes maintaining high-performance standards and will be primarily responsible for material handling, order selection, and other warehouse functions as needed.

• Starting rate of $27.22, with potential to go to a top rate of $36.86 per hour after completing 24 months
• Opportunity to earn $1 to $18 per hour in incentive
• Night Differential - $1.25
• Cooler Differential - $0.50
• Freezer Differential - $1.25

5 X 8 | Floater | 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Responsibilities Include

• Manually lifting food service products (from 10-70lbs) onto pallets, and prepare pallets for shipping to a customer location
• Accurately scanning and selecting products using a computerized inventory system.
• Safe operation of power equipment including electric pallet jacks.
• Working in a variety of temperature zones including a freezer (-20 degrees Celsius), cooler and dry goods areas. All warehouse employees must be prepared to work in all warehouse temperature zones
• Exposure to and handling of all types of food products including seafood, meats, dairy, produce, spices, beverages and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations and Food Safety programs
• All other duties as required
