Job summary

Maritime Beauty Supply in Halifax, NS is seeking a part-time Order Selector to join our Distribution Centre team. This 6-month contract position features a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings as needed.

Compensations are hourly and based on skills and experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse experience is an asset; training provided.
• Experience using pallet jack and forklift is an asset; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multi-tasking with strong attention to detail.
• Positive and self-motivated.
• Effective verbal communication and ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Proven reliability and safety.
• Thrive in a team setting and able to work independently.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, assemble, and load orders for shipment while meeting time and accuracy targets.
• Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are followed.

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Order Selector to join our Distribution Centre team located in Halifax, NS. The ideal candidate is energetic, has a positive & collaborative "can-do" attitude, great attention to detail, and a drive to reach targets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately & efficiently pick, assemble, and load orders for shipment while maintaining time and accuracy targets

Job Type: Part-Time position with fluctuating hours. Contract ends around January 8th, 2027.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required as needed to meet business needs.
