Job summary

Groupe Touchette in Victoria, BC, is seeking an Order Picker for a temporary, full-time role. You will be responsible for storing and organizing tires in the warehouse, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and verifying receipts.

Daily duties include inspecting incoming tires, maintaining safe storage with lifting equipment, and using an RF scanner to update inventory. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with possible paid overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator competency card (class 2).
• Previous forklift operator experience.
• Able to lift 50–70 lbs daily.
• Safety boots required.
• Reliable and safety-conscious team player.

Your Role

As an Order Picker within our group, your responsibilities will include the storage and organisation of tires in the warehouse.

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks;
• Supervising the receipt and inspection of incoming tires;
• Ensuring optimal storage of products in the warehouse using lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and order in storage areas;
• Scanning and recording products into inventory using a RF scanner.

What We Are Looking For

• Owning a valid forklift operator competency card (class 2);
• Having previous experience as a forklift operator;
• Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs;
• Safety boots required;
• Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
