Job summary

Groupe Touchette in Burlington is seeking an Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The position is temporary with a potential to become permanent after a qualifying period, with a 40-hour workweek and shifts at 6:00 AM or 9:00 AM.

Wage is $22.30 per hour. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, receiving and inspecting tires, organizing storage with lifting equipment, and recording items via RF scanner.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator competency card (class 2).
• Previous forklift operator experience.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs daily.
• Safety boots required.

Your Role

As an Order Picker within our group, your responsibilities will include the storage and organisation of tires in the warehouse.

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks;
• Supervising the receipt and inspection of incoming tires;
• Ensuring optimal storage of products in the warehouse using lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and order in storage areas;
• Scanning and recording products into inventory using a RF scanner.

What We Are Looking For

• Owning a valid forklift operator competency card (class 2);
• Having previous experience as a forklift operator;
• Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs;
• Safety boots required;
• Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
