Job summary

Groupe Touchette in Barrie is seeking an Order Picker for temporary employment with potential for permanence. You will store and organize tires in the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and ensure accurate inventory via RF scanning.

The position runs for 3 days a week from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with possible paid overtime during peak season. A class 2 forklift competency card and prior forklift experience are required; safety boots and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator competency card (class 2).
• Prior experience as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Supervising the receipt and inspection of incoming tires.
• Ensuring optimal storage of products in the warehouse using lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and order in storage areas.
• Scanning and recording products into inventory using a RF scanner.

Your Role

As an Order Picker within our group, your responsibilities will include the storage and organisation of tires in the warehouse.

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks;
• Supervising the receipt and inspection of incoming tires;
• Ensuring optimal storage of products in the warehouse using lifting equipment, while maintaining safety and order in storage areas;
• Scanning and recording products into inventory using a RF scanner.

What We Are Looking For

• Owning a valid forklift operator competency card (class 2);
• Having previous experience as a forklift operator;
• Being able to handle daily loads between 50 and 70 lbs;
• Safety boots required;
• Reliability, collaboration and vigilance in matters of safety.
