Job summary

Centennial Food Solutions is seeking an Order Picker to join its Western Canada warehouse team. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts to pick products per customer orders, receive inventory, and rotate stock while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack and/or forklift to pick products per orders and verify numbers.

• Follow safety and sanitation programs; complete logs and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Title: Order Picker

Starting Minimum: $19.86/hour

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager or designate, the duties and responsibilities of the Order Picker will include but will not be limited to:

• Operating a pallet jack and/or forklift pick products to the specifications of customer orders and verifying product numbers.
• Receive delivered inventory and monitor for any problems.
• Put stock away and rotate accordingly.
• Prepare orders for delivery or shipping, following company policies.
• Follow safety and sanitation programs in the warehouse.
• Complete all required logs and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Willingness to work with raw meat products.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
• Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
• Training will be provided.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.
