Job summary

Aerotek in Ontario is seeking an Order Picker to support distribution across Ontario. This Contract to Hire role is fully onsite in Puslinch, with shifts starting by checking the meeting board and signing out equipment, then using RF scanners to locate tasks.

You will build pallets weighing 5-30 lbs, stage orders, and may train on reach truck operations. Work is in a fridge and freezer environment with temperatures from 2 to -15 degrees, and all necessary protective gear is provided.

Qualifications

• Use RF scanners to locate and pick orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle products weighing 5-30 lbs.
• Work in a fridge and freezer environment with cold conditions.
• 1-6 months experience operating Crown Reach truck or Dock stocker (stand-up forklift).

Job description

Join a leading global logistics company with a robust presence in Canada. Our warehouse supports the distribution of products throughout Ontario. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive their products efficiently and accurately. You will start your shift by checking the meeting board, signing out equipment, and using RF scanners to determine the location of your tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners to locate and pick orders.
• Build full pallets by manually handling products weighing between 5-30 lbs.
• Stage completed orders and move on to the next task.
• Participate in case picking for the first few months, with potential to train on reach truck operations.
• Work in a fridge and freezer environment, handling products in cold conditions.
• 1-6 months experience with operating Crown Reach truck or Dock stocker (Stand-up forklift).
• Experience in an order picking position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment across all seasons.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possessing a vehicle is advantageous due to the location in Puslinch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
