Job summary

Adecco is seeking experienced Centre Rider / Power Equipment Operators for a full-time role in Bolton, Ontario. You will transport products, replenish inventory, pick orders and support shipping operations, using Centre Riders and other warehouse equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Shifts are 5:45am–3:45pm or 3:45pm–1:45am with 10-hour rotations; permanent hire potential and weekly pay with vacation pay are offered. Training is provided and safety shoes are discounted.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating warehouse power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience in high-volume distribution environments is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate Centre Riders, Electric Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers and other power equipment safely.
• Pick, move, load, unload and stage inventory across the warehouse.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to process orders and track inventory.

Adecco is currently recruiting experienced Centre Rider / Power Equipment Operators for full-time opportunities in a fast-paced distribution centre environment.

As a Power Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting products, replenishing inventory, picking orders, and supporting shipping operations. Your expertise will help ensure products move efficiently through the warehouse while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

• Pay rate: up to $20.60/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Operate Centre Riders, Electric Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers, Clamp Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Walkies, and other warehouse power equipment safely and efficiently.


• Pick, move, load, unload, and stage inventory throughout the warehouse.


• Transport products accurately within designated warehouse locations.


• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders and maintain inventory accuracy.


• Support shipping, receiving, replenishment, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities.


• Prepare, pack, label, and ship customer orders according to company standards.


• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any safety concerns.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating Centre Riders, Electric Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers, Clamp Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Walkies, or similar warehouse power equipment.


• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse, distribution centre, logistics, material handling, shipping and receiving, or order fulfillment environment.


• Forklift certification is considered an asset.


• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory management software.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.


• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity targets.


• Reliable transportation required.


• Ability to work full-time and occasional weekends.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.


• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
