Job summary

AVEVA, a global industrial software leader, is seeking an Order Management Specialist in Calgary. You will act as a liaison across sales, legal, finance and operations to manage the order-to-invoice lifecycle, validate data in Salesforce, and ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional order booking, maintaining documentation in SharePoint, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in order management
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with experience in order processing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel (MS Office)
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems; Oracle and Salesforce knowledge a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Review booking requirements for new orders and coordinate with sales/legal/contracts teams as needed
• Validate orders and opportunities in Salesforce to ensure accurate ARR and commissions
• Enter orders in the ERP and ensure proper setup for invoicing and revenue recognition
• Support invoicing by assisting the Invoicing Specialist to raise and send invoices on time
• Submit fulfilment requests and share key information with relevant teams to avoid delays
• Coordinate order booking activities with cross-functional teams and regional offices
• File documentation, approvals, PODs in SharePoint for easy future retrieval
• Maintain Unbilled Report with current data and follow up on cases
• Support internal and external audit requirements and ensure compliance
• Assist other groups with new customer accounts as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
