Job description

Our manufacturing client in Vaughan is seeking a detail-oriented Order & Inventory Management Specialist to oversee order processing, inventory tracking, and purchasing. This role ensures seamless order fulfillment while monitoring stock levels and working closely with vendors and internal teams.

This will be a day shift role, with the option to work from home most of the week after training is complete. You must be flexible with working in the office every day, for training, and occasionally on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage order entry, sales orders, and purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate replenishments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Track and oversee shipments, confirm deliveries, and address any delays to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Act as the main point of contact for order and inventory-related inquiries, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage orders, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and process invoices, shipping documents, and inventory reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Arrange carrier pickups and shipments within Canada & the USA, ensuring load accuracy.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory, orders, and shipments.
• Request freight rates, assist in production planning, and manage relabeling/repackaging documentation.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in order management, inventory control, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset.
• Must have reliable transportation – the location is not easily accessible by public transit.
