Job summary

Big Country Raw in Smithville, Ontario is seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Member to accurately pick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders in our temperature-controlled warehouse.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Starting wage is $19.50/hour with a $2.00 night shift premium, with wage progression to $20.25 at 6 months and $21 at 12 months. Benefits include group insurance, a performance bonus, and a discount program for pet food.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, order picking, and packing experience.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in a freezer environment (-10°C).
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Good communication and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, assemble, and ship orders accurately.
• Ensure orders are picked on time and shipments are labeled according to requirements.
• Load, unload, sort, and move products throughout the warehouse.
• Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and Drivers about daily orders and deliveries.
• Complete quality checks to ensure shipments are ready and undamaged.

What You'll Do:

Contribute to the warehouse team by accurately receiving, storing, picking, assembling, and shipping customer orders within our temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You'll help ensure products are handled safely, orders are completed accurately, and customers receive exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable performing physical work in both warehouse and commercial freezer environments (-10 degrees). This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly when priorities change.

What You Bring:

• Pick, assemble, and load customer orders for shipment.
• Ensure all orders are picked accurately and completed on time.
• Load, unload, sort, and move products throughout the warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager and Drivers regarding daily orders and deliveries.
• Ensure all shipments are stacked, wrapped, and labeled according to company and customer requirements.
• Complete quality checks to ensure products are shipment-ready and free from damage.
• Work safely and efficiently in varying temperature-controlled environments, including freezer conditions.
• Support a positive team environment and assist with additional warehouse duties as required.

What You Bring:
