Job summary

Big Country Raw is seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Member to accurately receive, store, pick, load and ship products in a -10°C warehouse. The role demands attention to detail, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting with a collaborative team.

Shift is Mon-Thu 9am-6pm and Fri 9am-5pm. Starting wage is $19.50/hr with progression to $20.25/hr at 6 months and $21.00/hr at 12 months, plus health/dental coverage and a performance bonus program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in general warehouse / order picking / packing.
• Able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in a commercial size freezer environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, assemble and load orders for shipment.
• Ensure orders are picked accurately with excellent service.
• Load, unload, sort and move products; report shortages to the Warehouse Manager.
• Communicate with Warehouse Manager and Drivers about daily orders and deliveries.
• Wrap, label and stack shipments according to standards and customer requirements.
• Check shipments for transport safety and packaging integrity prior to shipment.
• Work in varying temperature environments and keep the area clean and organized.
• Follow Health and Safety protocols and report concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Order Fulfillment supervisor team.

What We're Looking For:

The Order Fulfillment Team Member is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, picking, loading, and shipment of products within a temperature-controlled (-10°C) warehouse. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

While many tasks are routine, changing priorities and unexpected challenges require flexibility and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who can adapt quickly, contribute to solutions, and help achieve shared goals.

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 9am-6pm, Friday 9am,-5pm

What You'll Do:

• Pick, assemble and load orders for shipment
• Ensure all orders are picked accurately, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move products around the warehouse and report product shortages to the Warehouse Manager.
• Communicate with Warehouse Manager and Drivers regarding daily orders and deliveries.
• Ensure all shipments are stacked, wrapped, and labeled according to BCR standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure quality control measures have been adhered to prior to shipment (safe for transport, no ripped boxes, etc.)
• Perform work in varying temperature environments.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Support a safe and healthy work environment by following all Health and Safety protocols/procedures, reporting any concerns to the Warehouse Manager, and otherwise adhering to the company’s Health and Safety program.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Order Fulfilment supervisor team. .

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience General Warehouse / order picking / packing.
• Ability to lift from 30 to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment including a commercial size freezer.
