Oral Health Therapist – Level 2

Better Health Network (BHN) is looking for a passionate and experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our dedicated dental team in Parkdale. In this community-focused role, you’ll deliver high-quality oral healthcare across both clinic and outreach settings – including the Smile Squad Program, bringing vital dental services to local schools.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver safe, effective oral healthcare across all age groups
  • Provide education, preventative treatment, and emergency care
  • Support outreach work including Smile Squad school visits
  • Collaborate with clinicians and mentor less experienced staff
  • Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical records
  • Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor of Oral Health + AHPRA registration
  • Victorian Radiation Licence + CPR competency
  • Strong clinical skills across all areas of scope
  • Experience in public dental services (4+ years preferred)
  • Confidence working with diverse communities and complex needs
  • Full driver's licence and willingness to travel for outreach

Bonus if you have

  • Extended Adult Scope of Practice
  • Experience with Titanium CMS
  • Membership with ADOHTA
