A forward-thinking company is seeking a Therapy Manager to redefine care delivery for Medicaid patients. In this pivotal role, you will provide remote behavioral health therapy and oversee the therapy care model in your market. Your expertise in evidence-based treatments will help patients connect with vital services, while your leadership will guide a multidisciplinary team. Waymark is a team of healthcare providers, technologists, and builders whose mission is to enable greater health among individuals with Medicaid benefits. Guided by the communities we serve, we bring support and technology-enabled care to help primary care providers keep Medicaid patients healthy. Our core values embody the essence of what makes Waymark a unique team today, and what we look for, nurture, and sustain as a team. We are bold builders, humble learners, and act with focused urgency.
If this vision resonates with you, we’re confident you’ll find incredible fulfillment and impact here and hope you bring your creativity, energy, and curiosity to Waymark.
As a Therapy Manager, you will be a core member of a multidisciplinary care team that seeks to redefine care delivery to patients receiving Medicaid. You will provide remote behavioral health therapy to patients who experience a range of behavioral health conditions. You are expected to be competent at triaging patients to an appropriate level of care and in the delivery of common evidence-based behavioral health therapies (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy [CBT], problem solving treatment [PST], acceptance and commitment therapy [ACT], solution-focused behavioral therapy [SFBT]). Our therapists help patients who are poor fits for tele-therapy connect with and benefit from services in the community.
In addition to providing direct patient care, you will oversee Waymark’s therapy care model in your market, proactively contacting individuals at high risk of acute behavioral health care needs, coordinating with Waymark’s interdisciplinary care team, and building relationships with community behavioral health resources. As a leader in a growing organization, you will play an active role in hiring, training, mentorship, and informing how we design, structure, and implement our therapy care model in Virginia.
