Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Functional Analyst

Introduction

Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R) is a set of integrated business processes within Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP, covering the entire accounting cycle from recording financial transactions to generating financial reports.

As an Oracle R2R Consultant, your role involves configuring, implementing, and optimizing R2R processes within Oracle ERP systems.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Support and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud with a focus on Order to Cash processes, especially Accounts Receivable, Collections, Tax (Vertex), and general knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Accounts Payables (AP).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and IT to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth system implementation and maintenance.
• Configure, test, implement, and support Oracle ERP modules including AR, Collections, Tax (Vertex), and Revenue Management.
• Ensure compliance with support SLAs and contribute to system enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and propose system improvements or customizations.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain functional documentation such as requirements, configurations, test cases, and user manuals.
• Conduct testing phases including unit, system integration, and UAT to facilitate successful deployments.
• Coordinate with technical teams for interface, workflow, and report development and testing.
• Engage with external vendors or consultants for advanced troubleshooting and system improvements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Business, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP, focusing on Accounts Receivable.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ERP modules: Collections, Tax (Vertex), and GL.
• Experience in gathering requirements, system configuration, and supporting Order to Cash processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
