Job summary

Wealthsimple Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Options Clearing Analyst to own daily reconciliations, settlements, and expirations across the options book. You will ensure accuracy to protect client assets and collaborate with trading, engineering, and operations teams.

You will leverage SQL and data analysis skills to pinpoint issues, streamline processes, and scale our back-office workflows as market activity grows. A rotation of hours around market events is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handling back-office reconciliations, settlements, or options clearing (OCC/CDCC)
• Comfortable with large data sets and finding the breaks
• Working knowledge of SQL and data querying

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation, settlement, and expiration processing across the options book
• Act as SMEs on OCC and CDCC clearing including SOLA
• Collaborate with Trade Desk, engineering, and operations to resolve discrepancies
• Use pivot tables and SQL to identify inefficiencies and fix them
• Build and improve tools/workflows to scale with volume
• Develop processes to improve back-office efficiency
