Job summary

The Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation seeks a Senior Director of Operations to lead operational excellence, financial oversight, and governance support for the Tomorrow’s Hospital campaign. The role oversees donor services, HR, and finance, reporting to the President & CEO and guiding a small team.

Based in Collingwood, this full-time role offers benefits, occasional work-from-home flexibility, and a major fundraising campaign in South Georgian Bay.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years progressive leadership experience in operations, administration, fundraising, donor services, or finance.
• Experience supporting boards, committees, and governance processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial processes, and operational systems.
• Strong knowledge of CRM/database management systems and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of Foundation operations to support growth.
• Oversee financial reporting, governance support, and risk management.
• Collaborate with departments to implement technology for efficiency.
• Lead budget development and monitoring for the Foundation.
• Support donor services, tax receipting, and financial administration procedures.
• Supervise month-end and year-end financial processes.
