Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operations of our equipment and the safety of our people
  • Maintain high quality standards of our products and address quality issues with urgency
  • Operate and optimize high-speed equipment, collaborating with Maintenance and Process Support staff
  • Perform product and grade changeovers as per schedule
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment to maximize performance, inputting measurements into computer systems
  • Respond to machine defects or issues to ensure standards are met
  • Handle raw materials and feed them into machinery to maintain production
  • Perform housekeeping duties to support safety and quality standards
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Trade School or College diploma preferred
  • Less than 2 years of experience required
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools or equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues
  • Experience in manufacturing is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with computers and technology
  • Motivated, able to work independently and in teams
  • Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized with multi-tasking ability
  • Willing to learn and grow
  • Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Primary language: English
