Job summary

Orica Limited in Gibraltar, BC, is seeking a Yardperson to support bulk product delivery and assist blast crews. This hands-on outdoor role operates on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation with 12‑hour shifts and drive-in/drive-out logistics.

You will load/unload trucks, maintain site safety, and help with on-bench operations. The successful candidate will have a valid Class 5 license, 1+ year experience in construction/mining, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Class 5).
• 1+ years’ experience in construction, mining, or related field.
• Experience with equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction jobs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to site.
• Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Commitment to punctuality, safety, and quality work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a strong safety culture by using PPE and following safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Load and unload trucks; assist with on‑bench operations

We are seeking aYardpersonto support our bulk product delivery and assist blast crews at our Gibraltar site, located in the Williams Lake, BC area. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role ideal for those who thrive in a team environment and want to build a career in mining and construction.

Work Schedule

• Reliable transportation will be provided from either Williams Lake or Quesnel. You must be able to be picked up at either of those locations.

Compensation

• $32.00 - $35.00 CAD per hour


• Medical on the first day worked. Basic module paid by the employer
