The Town of Caledon is seeking a motivated Labourer for road maintenance and winter operations. You will operate light to heavy equipment, perform daily safety checks, and assist with ditching, signage, and surface repairs. Lifting up to 25 kg and working in adverse conditions may be required.
Ideal candidates hold a Grade 12 diploma and a valid DZ or AZ license with solid experience in heavy equipment. Availability for irregular hours and a strong safety mindset are essential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with Grade 12 completion or the equivalent and a valid DZ and/or AZ driver’s license in good standing with no more than 3 demerit points. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the operation of heavy equipment under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in road maintenance and construction tasks. Must be available to work irregular hours, including shift work (morning, afternoon, evening/nights).
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the working environment and will be able to meet physical demands of the position including lifting up to 50 lbs (25 kg) and working in adverse weather conditions. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated mechanical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This position offers a pay rate of $33.38 per hour, plus a competitive benefit package.
