THE ROLE

As the Sr. Manager/Manager, Operations, you will lead the team to:

• Work with Business Support partners to manage the day-to-day functions of the department, supporting corporate objectives and fostering career development and an excellent employee experience.
• Develop the operations strategy for our business, both organizationally and by area.
• Define & implement the core operating structure & working model of the business.
• Design approaches to business decision-making and establish the necessary infrastructure.
• Engineer effective, efficient systems that optimize throughput and ensure frictionless operations.
• Introduce and expand world-class capabilities to drive our business forward.
• Scale the business for future growth, evolving infrastructure across key pillars.
• Integrate meaningful infrastructure into daily business operations.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Sr. Manager/Manager, Operations, should have:

• Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in business operations, process design, and organizational development.
• A commitment to learn and embody Aritzia's Values and Leadership principles.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
• A dedication to quality and results that add value to the business.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As part of the Operations team, you will work on high-priority projects and see their impact firsthand. Your responsibilities include:

Answering key business questions such as:

• What investments in People, Process, and Technology should we prioritize for scaling?
• Which industry best practices should we consider for new departments or functions?

• How can we optimize existing processes for effectiveness and efficiency?

Building essential infrastructure, including:

• The operating model of a department, including structure, capabilities, and responsibilities.
• Documentation of processes with clear accountability.
• Frameworks, tools, and templates for efficient process execution.

Collaborating to achieve results:

• Working cross-functionally to identify opportunities and create roadmaps.
• Understanding the intricacies of different departments for optimal operation.
• Facilitating workshops with team members and leaders across the business.

THE COMPENSATION

The typical salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 CAD annually. Final salary depends on skills, experience, and knowledge. We are open to adjusting scope and compensation for qualified candidates.
