Overview

Responsibilities

As an Operations Team Lead, you will be an integral part of our frontline leadership team. Candidates must have strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership by leading and influencing through positive example. Responsibilities include overseeing route drivers and deliveries, improving productivity, and streamlining branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance.

Reporting Location: Simpsonville, South Carolina

Salary: $65,680 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday, with Saturdays as needed

Start Time: Between 6 am - 7 am until workload is completed

• Manage and oversee daily branch operations for efficiency
• Enhance productivity and streamline activities to maximize results
• Support team decisions, communicate effectively, problem solve, manage conflicts, provide coaching and feedback, train new hires, and teach upselling techniques
• Ensure safety in vehicle operation, complete DOT documentation, follow safe work practices, and promote safety ownership
• Participate in branch closing activities, driver reviews, and team meetings
• Lead the team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching on upselling techniques
• Be flexible to cover routes and work hours as needed
• Collaborate on strategies to improve customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Class B CDL license with airbrake endorsement preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (last 3 years), with no major offenses
• Must be 21 or older (DOT requirement)
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Power BI preferred
