Job summary

Richardson International is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Oakville, ON site to oversee daily operations and meet stated goals. The role focuses on implementing procedures safely, leading a team, and coordinating with Maintenance, Logistics, and QA to uphold health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food manufacturing supervision, a relevant degree, and strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Operations Management, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing policy and procedures.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent computer, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational procedures are implemented safely and in compliance with SOPs.
• Identify, correct and report non-conformances.
• Lead the team including development, training, performance monitoring and coaching.
• Liaise with other departments i.e. Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to.
• Other duties as assigned.
