Bunge in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in Crush, Refinery, or Packaging, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will support the Production Manager in achieving operational excellence.

You will lead shift activities, uphold food safety standards, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across the site while collaborating with the Safety and Environmental Manager. This role requires flexibility for weekends and rotating shifts.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in soybean crushing, oil refining, oil packaging, or related industrial manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other technical software programs as required.
• Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and engage employees.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and rotating shifts.

• Oversee assigned production shift activities across Crush, Refinery, Packaging, Warehouse, Boiler House, and/or Elevator operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Support food safety culture and maintain the site's Food Safety Management System to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure sanitation compliance and support sanitation inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Track and report shift productivity and operational performance improvements.
• Review and approve daily production reports and KPIs for the assigned shift.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Provide input to the Production Manager for annual shutdown planning and execution.
• Support Process Safety Management programs where applicable.
• Partner with Safety and Environmental Manager for safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute Operations Excellence plans to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and act as a change agent within the shift.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to align shift performance with Operations Excellence objectives.
• Participate in daily production meetings to stay informed and aligned with plant priorities.
• Participate in employee investigations and recommend corrective actions when required.
