Summary

Support day-to-day store operations and drive operational efficiencies for the new Oakridge Park Mall store opening. Lead and train store teams on operating systems and processes, support stock management and loss prevention, and act as project lead for operational initiatives to improve customer service and store performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement operational improvements to protect product assets and improve reporting.
• Support the Store Manager to drive best practices and cascade processes to teams.
• Conduct trainings for new hires and ongoing training on the Cegid store operating system.
• Manage stock loss targets, replenishment processes, stockroom optimization and weekly product reviews.
• Act as project lead for store operational projects and support HQ during store launch.
• Own vendor/supplier relationships and identify cost and service improvements.
• Manage health and safety compliance and store facilities.
• Work with Inventory Control on cycle counts, negatives on hand reporting and yearly inventory.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years retail experience and at least 3 years managing people.
• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer service and sales floor focus.
• Proven ability to lead projects, train teams and communicate at all levels.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Cegid preferred.
• Knowledge of retail security and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; foreign languages a plus.
