As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive team culture that aligns with our company values.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high levels of team engagement and productivity
  • Oversee daily store operations such as merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and cash handling to ensure smooth functioning
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while enhancing customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements across all store functions
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (multilingual) contexts; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, training & development processes to build high-performing teams
  • Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, budgeting, and financial analysis (math skills essential)
  • Exceptional time management abilities coupled with phone etiquette and professional interpersonal skills
  • Supervising experience in retail sales environments with a focus on leadership development and team management
