Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking a Management Controller for Operations Support Functions in Mirabel. This permanent, day-shift role supports Engineering, Methods, Quality Assurance, and Supplier Quality, consolidates overhead costs, and leads the financial governance of current results, budgets, and forecasts produced three times during the fiscal year.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation with at least five years of experience, advanced Excel, fluent French and functional English, and SAP

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Advanced Excel skills required for complex analyses and modelling.
• Advanced French language skills and functional English are essential for multilingual environment and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consolidation and prepare financial governance for overhead costs.
• Lead monthly governance of current results (EBIT and unit costs) and variance analyses versus forecasts and budget.
• Prepare and track annual budget and provide financial forecasts for the current year.
• Support purchasing processes and internal/external audits.
• Perform month-end tasks including variance analysis, provisions, and cost allocations.
• Prepare and present governance for each supported function.

Responsibilities:

• Support Engineering, Methods, Quality Assurance, and Supplier Quality functions. Coordinate consolidation and produce financial governance for overhead costs. Involvement in the financial cycle; specifically compilation, analysis, and preparation of the financial governance of current results, budget preparation, and annual forecasts produced 3 times during the fiscal year.
• Produce financial governance for supported functions and consolidated results:
• Monthly production of current results (EBIT and unit costs) and comparative analyses against forecasts and the annual budget,
• Produce and ensure tracking of the annual budget,
• Produce financial forecasts for the current year,
• Support partners in the Purchasing process,
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform month-end tasks:
• Variance analysis and corrective actions,
• Period-end provisions,
• Cost allocations,
• Preparation and presentation of the financial governance for each supported function.

Profile sought:

• Academic background: hold a recognized accounting designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) or equivalent.
• Experience: a minimum of five years of experience is required.
• Mastery of the Office suite and particularly demonstrating an advanced level in Excel
• Have an advanced level of French and functional English (important for communication within the client site's multilingual environment and technical documentation).
• Mastery of SAP is an important asset
