Grand & Toy Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a hands-on operations leader to take charge of our Winnipeg Customer Fulfillment Centre. You will shape culture, drive performance, and own the day-to-day operations.

This role requires decisive leadership, accountability, and a practical approach to problem solving. You will coach teams, collaborate with Sales, and deliver safe, productive, and efficient service on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment.
• Track record of influencing team culture and performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solutions-focused, practical problem solving.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building—Own day-to-day operation on site and create a safe, productive, and positive environment.
• Build accountability by coaching your team, setting clear expectations, addressing challenges, and recognizing great performance.
• Drive productivity, service, and efficiency by monitoring operations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Be hands-on—spend the majority of your day on the warehouse floor, staying connected to your people and operation.
• Own the details—from inventory and staffing to building maintenance, security, payroll, and costs.
• Partner for success—work closely with Sales and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You're an experienced operations leader who is comfortable taking charge, making decisions, and holding people accountable. You know how to build trust while having tough conversations when they're needed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• The confidence to work independently and make decisions in a standalone operation.
• A genuine interest in developing people and continuously improving how things work.

Nice to haves:

• Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience with WMS, RF scanners, Kronos, Roadnet, or similar operational systems

What You'll Do

• Lead the building — Own the day‑to‑day operation and create a safe, productive, and positive environment.

• Drive results — Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service, and efficiency.

• Own the details — From inventory and staffing to building maintenance, security, payroll, and operational costs, you'll take ownership of what happens on site.
• Partner for success — Work closely with Sales and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Facility Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
