Job description

This is an interview position plus CEV.

This is a frontline supervisor position supporting the FedEx Express (FXE) Safety Above All Culture. The role manages day-to-day sort operations and Cargo Handlers (CH) within a station, leading and guiding employees in package handling, routing, and recovery of service failures. The Operations Supervisor oversees all CH functions, including work direction, mentoring, coaching, training, and ensuring compliance with FXE policies and government regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • College degree
  • 2 years of FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
  • Completion of all basic and recurrency training, including DG certification
  • Mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing abilities
  • Leadership skills to inspire, empower, and motivate teams
  • Prioritization and delegation skills in time-sensitive situations
