Job summary

FMI Group's KFC location in Newfoundland and Labrador seeks a reliable Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and quality standards, manage cash, scheduling, and daily operations, and coach team members toward excellent service.

This role requires flexibility for weekends and nights, and a passion for hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest experience.
• Experience with cash handling, reconciliation and daily reporting.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Position Description

• Provide a top-notch guest experience
• Prepare our world-famous chicken at the highest quality standards
• Serve beverages, cook fresh and frozen product according to specifications
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment to ensure one hundred percent customer satisfaction
• Cash handling, reconciling cash and daily paperwork
• Managing financial controls, operations, people development, customer service and compliance
• Maintaining and ordering inventory and supplies
• Training and developing Team Members and Shift Managers to achieve operational excellence
• Addressing in-store issues and communicating plans to the team
• Ensuring all staff are following health, safety and security codes
