Job summary

NPAworldwide in Toronto area is seeking a hands-on production leader to manage gummy manufacturing, reporting to the President. You will ensure schedules, quality, and compliance targets are met while leading a small team of production staff and a maintenance technician.

Ideal candidates have a background in regulated food/nutraceutical manufacturing with gummy experience, strong Lean/CI training, and the ability to drive scale-up and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • BS or Diploma in Engineering, Food Science, or similar discipline; or related experience considered.
  • 6-10 years in regulated manufacturing (nutraceutical, food, or pharmaceutical, gummy preferred).
  • Min 2-4 years supervising teams in a managerial capacity.
  • Molding, depositing, or cooking experience.
  • Knowledge of GMP, Health Canada NHP regulations.
  • Regulatory, quality, OEE tracking, and production planning tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-moving environment.

  • Implement Lean practices and process improvements to reduce waste and increase output.
  • Collaborate with R&D to test and scale new formulations.
  • Track cost, labour, and inventory accuracy in coordination with Supply Chain.

  • Fluency in Mandarin is an asset.
  • This is a senior role, with a salary range of $100K to $120K CAD.
