Responsibilities

• Prepare trackers, reports, and summaries for workload management and SLA reporting.
• Assist with employee payroll cases by researching, updating notes, and routing items.
• Monitor cases to meet service-level commitments and deadlines.
• Escalate potential errors or issues to Payroll Operations leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and support other priorities.

Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP):On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3–4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) - Job Description:This role focuses on providing additional support to the Canadian Payroll Operations team during a high-volume period. The project involves managing operational workloads, analyzing and organizing payroll-related data, and supporting the timely resolution of employee cases and inquiries.Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) - Responsibilities:• Support the Payroll Operations team with day-to-day operational and administrative activities during peak processing periods.• Review, organize, validate, and reconcile employee data using Microsoft Excel.• Prepare trackers, reports, and summaries to support workload management, issue resolution, and operational reporting.• Assist with employee payroll cases by reviewing information, completing required research, updating case notes, and routing or escalating items as appropriate.• Monitor assigned cases and activities to help ensure service-level commitments and deadlines are met.• Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and follow up with the appropriate teams.• Support payroll audits, data validation, reconciliations, testing, and other time-sensitive activities.• Maintain accurate documentation and handle employee and payroll information with appropriate confidentiality.• Escalate potential errors, risks, or issues to Payroll Operations leadership.• Provide general support for other payroll priorities and projects, as required.Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) - Mandatory Skills:• 1+ year experience supporting payroll processing or payroll operations, as a payroll analyst/specialist• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets, formulas, filters, sorting, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation• Experience working with case management systems or managing customer or employee inquiries• Knowledge of Canadian payroll practices or payroll legislation• Experience with SAP / ECP Payroll, Employee Central, PEGA, ServiceNow, or a similar payroll or case management system (in order of preference)Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience supporting high-volume transaction processing, reconciliations, audits, or year-end activities.• Experience in HROperations, Payroll Processor (SAP) – Assignment Length:This is a contract position from ASAP to the end of March 2027, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.Operations, Payroll Processor (SAP) - Start Date:ASAPOperations, Payroll Processor (SAP) - Assignment Location:Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid position with 3–4 days in office based on business needs.This posting is for an existing vacancy.This employer uses both human and technology-assisted tools to support candidate screening and assessment.
