Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee for full-time, permanent work based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta. The role trains you to lead grain handling, logistics, and quality control with hands-on mentorship and e-learning.

You will develop leadership and operational understanding through a blended program, including on-the-job training, virtual sessions, and practical responsibilities in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience participating in the operation of a grain elevator, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of the grain industry including grading, elevator equipment and processes.
• Practical experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with leadership abilities.
• Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning new software.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta and is best suited for candidates with grain handling and elevator operators experience who have demonstrated progressive responsibility.

As Operations Manager Trainee, the successful candidate will gain the knowledge and understanding of the various responsibilities required to successfully step into the role of an Operations Manager. Your role focuses on developing leadership, operational understanding, and communication skills through a blended training approach, including personal mentorship, on-the-job training, e-learning modules, virtual sessions and webinars.
