Valnet is seeking a dynamic and passionate Portfolio Associate to oversee brands within our iconic gaming portfolio. Reporting directly to the General Manager - Gaming, this role involves managing operational performance, leading teams, driving growth, and ensuring accountability across a diverse portfolio of gaming-related websites.

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with strong operational and leadership experience, a deep understanding of the gaming industry, and the ability to collaborate with and motivate large teams. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of a portfolio of gaming websites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage and report on portfolio KPIs, ensuring accountability across all teams.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize content creation, audience engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, editors, and marketing, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate website performance and conduct competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead in the gaming industry.
  • Mentor and lead teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve portfolio objectives.
  • Deliver regular reports to management, providing insights into portfolio performance, team progress, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on gaming industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and complex operations, ideally within the gaming or digital media industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in performance reporting and data analysis.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • A passion for gaming and a solid understanding of the gaming industry, including its audiences and trends.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
