Job summary

Sephora Canada in Vancouver is seeking a Team Lead, Operations to direct the store's operations team, oversee staffing, overnight stock, and lead the operations leadership group on the shop floor.

You will drive budget-conscious decisions, manage inventory controls, and ensure visual merchandising and customer service standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role at a comparable volume store or equivalent internal experience.
• Proven ability to influence peers and provide feedback.
• Strong store operations skills.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence: ensure all operations focused processes are executed per company standards.
• Inventory management: handle shipping, receiving, returning merchandise, cycle counting, and ensure all processes meet guidelines.
• Visual merchandising: manage merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals to meet company standards.
• Supply management: maintain appropriate budget and quantity of supplies, testers, and samples.
• Performance assessment & development: manage performance situations for the operations team, providing feedback and follow-up.
• Act as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
• Develop budget strategies, demonstrating understanding of sales performance, staffing and payroll, and other controllable expenses.

Your Role

As Team Lead, Operations, you will support all operations aspects of a Sephora store location. This includes direct management of the operations team, ensuring the execution of store processes per company standards. You will also manage staffing, overnight stock, and lead the operations leadership team.

Responsibilities
