Job summary

CC&L Financial Group invites applications for an Intern to join the Institutional Portfolio Operations team for an 8-month term (Jan – August 2027) in Vancouver. You will support institutional clients and the trading process, gaining exposure to the asset management industry.

You will assist with cash notices, billing, AUM reporting and participate in automation projects, while developing skills in Excel VBA, Power BI, and SQL. Strong collaboration and communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Students in 3rd/4th or 4th year pursuing business, commerce, finance or related field.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
• Team-oriented with high standards and drive.
• Positive, proactive attitude toward process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Process client subscription and redemption instructions daily for trading teams.
• Calculate management fees for institutional clients monthly/quarterly.
• Administer AUM reporting and prepare monthly/quarterly reports for teams.
• Participate in projects focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability.
• Communicate portfolio information and manage flow of sensitive data across CC&L affiliates.
