Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) invites applications for an Operations Intern in Canada’s agriculture sector. This paid, four‑month internship focuses on hands‑on experience in grain handling, crop inputs, and field scouting while contributing to real projects within the Grain and Crop Inputs division.

You will work with experienced professionals, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to safety standards and everyday operations in a farm‑to‑table supply chain.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, Mechanical Techniques, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in agriculture industry and practices.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full‑time availability for a 4-month term, May – Aug.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with grain handling and sorting, including supporting truck loading activities and conducting sample testing
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Field and crop scouting duties as required
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
