Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) in Lethbridge, Alberta, invites applications for an Operations Intern (May – August). This full-time, contract internship offers hands-on experience in grain handling, crop inputs, field scouting, and operations support within the Grain and Crop Inputs division.

You will work with experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop practical skills in Canada’s agriculture and food industry while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, Mechanical Techniques, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Strong interest in agriculture industry and practices
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assisting with grain handling and sorting, including supporting truck loading activities and conducting sample testing
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Field and crop scouting duties as required
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

Internship Overview
