Job summary

As an Operations Intern in Gladstone, MB, you will gain hands-on experience across grain handling, crop inputs, and related operations, contributing to real projects that support our business and communities.

You will assist with day-to-day grain handling, logistics, and customer service while developing practical skills under experienced professionals during the 4-month May–Aug term.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, Mechanical Techniques, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in agriculture industry and practices.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full‑time availability for a 4-month term, May – Aug.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with grain handling and sorting, including supporting truck loading activities and conducting sample testing
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Field and crop scouting duties as required
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
• Performing exceptional customer service duties
