Job summary

The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) seeks a Manager, Operations and Facilities to lead facility and operations management during a dynamic relocation project. You will manage space, vendor contracts, security and records, while guiding a small team in a hybrid workplace.

This is a 7-month contract with onsite presence in Toronto several days a week. Ideal candidates have strong budgeting, regulatory compliance, and project leadership skills, plus experience with MS

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum five years supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with facility management budgets and regulatory health & safety.
• Experience managing complex projects such as construction or decommissioning.
• Proficiency with MS 365 and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• FMP or PMP certification is an asset; WHMIS is an asset; bilingual French/English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical space for upgrades, repairs and maintenance.
• Plan facility projects from start to finish with schedule, specs and budget.
• Develop standards for hybrid workers to book workspace and parking.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and ensure compliance with codes.
• Manage security systems and records storage.
• Oversee space and catering for onsite meetings.
• Coordinate emergency response with JOHSC.
• Lead a team of 4 staff and oversee on-site security personnel.
• Plan budgets and capital initiatives for a 3-year life cycle.
• Develop policies for safe on-site and remote work.
