Job summary

Canada Cartage in Mississauga is seeking a dependable AZ Tanker Driver. You will start and finish from the Mississauga terminal, delivering to Ontario, Quebec, and the US while safely handling hazardous materials and performing tanker operations.

The role requires a valid AZ license, 3+ years AZ experience with tanker exposure, TDG and FAST card compliance, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• AZ Driver license required and clean driving record.
• Comfortable with city and highway routes, tight turns, and backing into docks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Minimum 3 years AZ experience; tanker experience preferred.
• Must be TDG compliant and FAST card required or willing to obtain.
• Must be bondable and eligible to work in Canada; valid US entry documents may be required.

Responsibilities

• Start and finish from Mississauga terminal.
• Deliver to locations in Ontario, Quebec and the US.
• Perform physical unloading of goods (up to 50 lbs).
• Safely transport cryogenic gases, CO2 products and other hazardous materials.
• Operate tanker to move various loads safely and efficiently.
• Ensure on-time, safe, and professional delivery to customers.
• Document deliveries and maintain logs accurately.

Position Title: AZ Tanker Driver

Duration: Full-time

Shift Schedule : Start time varies , 4 days on and 4 days off

Salary : Competitive rate

What you will do

• Start and finish from our Mississauga terminal
• Delivering products to various locations within Ontario, Quebec and US
• Perform physical unloading of goods (hand bombing) of up to 50 lbs
• Safely transport cryogenic gases, CO2 products, and other hazardous materials to designated destinations
• Operate tanker to transport a variety of loads safely and efficiently
• Ensure on-time, safe, and professional delivery to customers
• Accurately document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs
• Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner
• Ensure accuracy and record all deliveries on timesheet

What You’ll Bring

• Valid AZ License
• Must be comfortable with both city and highway driving, regular tight turns, backup into small docks
• Ability to lift upto 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ experience
• Over 1 year of verifiable tanker experience
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and load securement procedures
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Ability to complete eLog and inspection reports accurately
• TDG required
• FAST Card required or must be willing to obtain one
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Must be legally eligible to enter the U.S. with valid documentation
