Job summary

Canada Cartage in Mississauga is seeking an AZ Tanker Driver for highway routes. You will deliver products across Ontario, Quebec, and the US, operating a tanker and performing occasional hand bomb unloading while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ experience.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker experience.
• Bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure PPE seal.
• Overnight and multi-day trips are required.
• Must be legally eligible to enter the U.S. with valid documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to locations in Ontario, Quebec, and US.
• Unload goods manually up to 50 lbs.
• Safely transport cryogenic gases and hazardous materials.
• Operate tanker to haul diverse loads safely.
• Ensure on-time, safe, professional deliveries and maintain logs.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.

Position Title:AZ Tanker Driver — Highway

Type of Employment: Full-time

Shift Schedule: 4 Days on & 4 Days off

Description

We’re looking for dependable, customer-and safety oriented focused drivers to become part of our dynamic delivery team. Responsibilities:

• Delivering products to various locations within Ontario, Quebec, and US
• Perform physical unloading of goods (hand bombing) of up to 50 lbs
• Safely transport cryogenic gases, CO₂ products, and other hazardous materials to designated destinations
• Operate tanker to transport a variety of loads safely and efficiently
• Ensure on-time, safe, and professional delivery to customers
• Accurately document all deliveries and maintain detailed logs
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs
• Have flexible availability to cover customer demands

Requirements:

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ experience
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker experience
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper fit and seal of required personal protective equipment (PPE), when applicable
• Position involves regular overnight and multi-day trips
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and load securement procedures
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Ability to complete eLog and inspection reports accurately
• Must be legally eligible to enter the U.S. with valid documentation
