Job summary

Bally Design in Thorold, ON is seeking an AZ Tanker Driver to perform cross-border deliveries between Canada and the US, loading and unloading chemicals and ensuring all required paperwork is complete.

Role requires tanker experience, valid CDL/A or AZ with TDG training, and a clean driving record. Company provides benefits and safety-focused equipment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of tractor/tanker experience.
• One year minimum tanker experience.
• Valid CDL Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements (US) or AZ license with TDG Training (Canada).
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Physically qualified to drive and hold a valid medical card.
• Able to prove experience or training to operate the vehicle safely.
• Eligible for and maintain FAST eligibility as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Make cross-border deliveries between Canada and the US.
• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck.
• Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with required paperwork.
• Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations.
• Become familiar with plant operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Location: Thorold, ON

Shift: Full-time - 40 hours per week

Reports to: Regional Driver Manager

Compensation: $30/hr. CAD + Benefits

In This Role, You Will:

• Make cross-border delivers between Canada and the US.
• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck
• Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with the required paperwork
• Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations

A Successful Candidate Has:

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience
• Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements (US-specific) or an AZ license withTDG Training (Canada-specific)
• A clean driving record for the past three (3) years
• Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card
• Be able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely
• Must be eligible for and obtain a valid FAST (Free and Secure Trade) card and maintain FAST eligibility as a condition of continued employment.
