Premier Pacific Seeds Ltd. in Surrey, BC is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operational activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure a high-quality customer experience in the grass seed industry.

The role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with collaboration across production, warehousing, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business/commerce is an asset.
• 2–5 years of logistics and order management experience.
• 3 years of administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Math skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software Navision (preferred), Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Location/Operations manager with various tasks.
• Coordinate with production, warehousing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Support procurement and supply coordination activities, including placing and tracking purchase orders, collaborating with suppliers on availability and timelines, maintaining accurate procurement records, following up on outstanding orders, and assisting with inventory replenishment planning to meet customer demand
• Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and pricing details within company systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, labeling standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Process customer orders, including order entry, confirmations, changes, and invoicing support when needed (typically during peak times).
• Support inventory management activities including inventory counts, monitoring stock levels, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with warehouse and operations to maintain optimal inventory levels, running various reports and reconciling programs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
• Various other duties and tasks as required.
