Job summary

Premier Pacific Seeds Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, logistics, and customer satisfaction in the grass seed sector.

The role requires strong analytical skills, detail focus, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Office-based with seasonal workload variations and collaboration across production and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business/commerce is an asset.
• 2–5 years of logistics and order management experience.
• 3 years of administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Math skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software (Navision preferred), Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Location/Operations manager with various tasks.
• Coordinate with production, warehousing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Support procurement and supply coordination activities, including placing and tracking purchase orders, following up on outstanding orders, and assisting with inventory replenishment planning.
• Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and pricing details within company systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, labeling standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Process customer orders, including order entry, confirmations, changes, and invoicing support.
• Support inventory management activities including counts, stock monitoring, discrepancies resolution, and coordinating with warehouse/operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.
• Various other duties and tasks as required.
