Job summary

EEPF seeks a Sergeant to provide leadership and oversight under the Lieutenant, managing investigations and workload across a policing team. The role involves assigning, reviewing and closing files, mentoring Patrol Officers, and ensuring policy compliance and ethical conduct.

You will coordinate critical incidents, monitor operations, and support scheduling, leaves, and resource allocation, with a focus on safety and effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years experience as a Police Officer.
• Valid driver’s license (class 5) for motor vehicles; eligible for emergency vehicle license.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Assign, review and close investigative files.
• Mentor Patrol Officers on procedures and professional conduct.
• Assess workload and effectiveness of service delivery; monitor administrative systems.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethics by Police Officers.
• Coordinate critical-incident responses and liaise with partner agencies.
• Assist in managing shift schedules, leaves and resource allocation.
• Orient new Patrol Officers on office operations and roles.
