Job summary

Sportchek in Welland, Ontario is seeking an Operations Analyst for a 12-month contract to support the Canadian Tire Financial Services contact centre. You will build budgets, forecasts, and staffing analyses to drive service levels and client experience.

You will develop dashboards using Power BI and Excel, analyze data from multiple sources, create staffing schedules, and collaborate with management to maximize efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Operations, Business Analytics, or related field (completed or in progress).
• Excellent analytic, organization, and problem resolution skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI; SQL/Python considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support contact centre management in meeting budget and service level goals.
• Lead modeling exercises using approved assumptions.
• Create and maintain dashboards for leadership teams.
• Track and analyze performance against budget targets.
• Forecast staffing needs for short- and long-term planning.
• Develop staffing schedules and capacity planning.
