A Few Good Lads is seeking a motivated individual to start a career as an Iron Worker / Rebar Worker. You will learn to install reinforcing steel on construction sites across the Lower Mainland, working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Training will be provided and some construction experience is helpful. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential, and the position offers a starting wage of $25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced ironworkers and rebar workers with daily tasks
• Help place, tie, and install reinforcing steel and rebar
• Measure, cut, bend, and position rebar as directed
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Move and organize materials around the job site
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Follow drawings, measurements, and instructions from experienced workers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn proper tools, techniques, and procedures for rebar installation
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Participate in training and develop skills within the trade
• Perform other general construction duties as required

About the Role

Some previous construction experience is required, but you do not need to have previous rebar or ironworking experience. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
