Job summary

A Few Good Lads is seeking an entry-level Iron Worker / Rebar Worker to join our team across Lower Mainland construction sites in BC. This role offers on-site work, hands-on training, and a path to develop in a skilled trade.

We welcome motivated individuals who can learn quickly, stay reliable, and handle the physical demands of the job. Training will be provided, with opportunities for long-term career development in construction.

  • Assist experienced ironworkers and rebar workers with daily tasks.
  • Help place, tie, and install reinforcing steel and rebar.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and position rebar as directed.
  • Use basic hand and power tools.
  • Move and organize materials around the job site.

Pay Rate: Starting at $25 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in building a career as an Iron Worker / Rebar Worker.


Some previous construction experience is required, but you do not need to have previous rebar or ironworking experience. Training will be provided to the right candidate.


You will work alongside experienced ironworkers and rebar workers, learning how to safely install and place reinforcing steel on construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is looking for a long‑term career in construction.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist experienced ironworkers and rebar workers with daily tasks

  • Help place, tie, and install reinforcing steel and rebar

  • Measure, cut, bend, and position rebar as directed

  • Use basic hand and power tools

  • Move and organize materials around the job site

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials

  • Follow drawings, measurements, and instructions from experienced workers

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Learn proper tools, techniques, and procedures for rebar installation

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

  • Participate in training and develop skills within the trade

  • Perform other general construction duties as required

  • Willingness to learn and take direction

  • Comfortable with physically demanding work

  • Able to lift and carry construction materials

  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
