Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company and North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is looking for an Operations Analyst in Toronto. You’ll turn operational data into actionable insights, solve business challenges and recommend improvements that drive performance.

Partner with Sales, Customer Service and Distribution Operations to support strategic initiatives. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; major in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of analyst experience with auditing and data analytics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL and Power BI; VBA and Power Automate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex business data into clear insights, recommendations and presentations for leadership.
• Analyze branch performance, productivity and error trends and identify root causes.
• Own analytical projects from opportunities to recommendations and results.

Operations Analyst Pay from $90,000 to $120,000 per year Toronto Branch 3333 James Snow Parkway North, Milton, ON L9T 8L1 Identify solutions. Shape decisions. Impact operations. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.

Position Responsibilities

• Turn complex business data into clear insights, recommendations and presentations that help leadership make informed decisions.
• Analyze branch performance, productivity and error trends to identify root causes and recommend improvements that streamline operations.
• Own analytical projects from identifying business opportunities through recommending solutions and measuring results.
• Partner with teams across Uline - including Sales, Customer Service and Distribution Operations - to understand business needs, solve challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Use SQL and Power BI to develop reporting tools that uncover trends and measure performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Major in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of analyst experience, with experience in auditing and data analytics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL and Power BI.
• Knowledge in VBA and Power Automate preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
